You’ve guessed it… it’s been another hectic week at ELR! With loads of new projects coming up, it’s a very exciting time for us.

Ian started the STARS project, working with Hackney New and Bridge Academy
students on their projects to encourage cycling to school

We are delighted to have a brand new member on our board… former Olympic athlete Jeanette Kwakye as our Youth Director.

We helped with the very difficult decisions of choosing the finalists in Drama In The Mix, a radio play competition by our partners RichMix.

Felicity Davies went to United Visual Artists’ Momentum at the Barbican on Wednesday. That will be available to enjoy next week.

We also interviewed Dan Edwards, Director of Parkour Generations about their purpose built facility opening in East London.

This week Aaron had the privilege of meeting gay rights campaigner Peter Tatchell to talk about the Sochi Olympics, LGBT rights and the ‘gay propaganda’ laws which are making everyday life very dangerous for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people. If you would like to know more about Peter’s work, how to get involved and how to support human rights around the world, click here. To listen to that amazing interview click HERE.
