This week we have been able to catch our breath a little after, so far, a crazy 2014!
We had our first board meeting in Spotlight this week and joining us for the first time was our brand new Youth Director on the board, Jeanette Kwakye. We are already excited for so many new projects that we will be a part of, so keep an eye out on our Twitter, Facebook and of course our blog for all the information about that!
Our very own Ian Chambers is looking forward to Drama In The Mix, a two day workshop at Richmix this coming week, helping local schools make radio plays. For more information about Richmix click here.
East London Radio were very proud to send 6 of our women to the Sound Women event in Hoxton this week where they got to hear from BBC Radio 1 Jameela Jamil and meet other women from the industry.
We met with Lucy from Essex Boys and Girls clubs this week about working with their many clubs on radio projects.
