East London Radio was formed a few months after the 2012 Olympics, which brought us a positive spotlight and sense of identity to the area. Since launching in mid-2013, hundreds of adult volunteers and over a thousand children, have been trained by us and been included on air. We’re grateful to the East London community for supporting us in so many ways. We’ve networked with many local organisations, partnered with businesses of all sizes, including some of our local councils. And we really appreciate all business sponsorship, which is essential to keep us doing what we do.
