Very few of the millions of commuters who travel through Bethnal Green Underground station are aware that it was the site of the biggest civilian disaster of the Second World War. Ian Chambers met architect Harry Paticas and ”Ground Force” celebrity builder Tommy Walsh to find out what they are doing to build a lasting memorial to 173 people who died there seventy years ago.
