On 20th May at Shoreditch Village Hall, we will be auctioning off prints of the art work that has been submitted to our successful Homopromo campaign to raise money for gay rights charity Stonewall and their fight for LGBT equality in Russia. The campaign, began during the Winter Olympics inviting people to submit posters protesting against Russia’s anti-gay legislation. Russia has made it illegal to ‘promote’ homosexuality, so if they won’t, we will. Check out the designs here:
We’ve had a great response to the campaign with artists submitting from around the world. We even got picked up by Buzzfeed:
